Training, Capacity Building, WASH & NTD

These programs are pivotal for empowering communities, vulnerable patients, leaders, and schoolchildren. Initiatives like Simple Health Care and school education programs cover a spectrum of topics, from HIV/AIDS prevention to neglected tropical diseases and adolescent health. By imparting practical skills like handwashing and fever reduction, and addressing sensitive issues like STIs and sexuality, these programs aim to prevent infections, provide care, and foster community support. Through collaboration with local stakeholders, they contribute to healthier, more resilient communities.

WASH & NTD

This project address through, school awareness and training of community leader initiatives focused on NTD prevention and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) practices. Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) with the special reference to leprosy pose significant health challenges in many communities, particularly in rural and urban slum areas. Lack of awareness on NTD’s will increase the ignorance on simple common methods for early detection and prevention. Most of the diseases need awareness and adequate sanitation practices which could contribute to the prevention of these diseases. By empowering community leaders and awareness in schools, we aim to reduce the burden of NTDs and improve public health in the areas they represent.
